File_specs

Logo Specs

  • Your file should be 8" x 8" and have a minimum resolution of 200 dpi
  • Accepted file formats: .JPG, .JPEG, .TIF, .TIFF, .EPS
  • .TIFF (or .TIF) formats should be flattened
  • .EPS formats must have all type converted to vector paths (traced or outlined)
  • RGB colorspace only
  • Max file size is 60mb

Walk West Productions is a full-service commercial and video production company that is the production arm of marketing firm, Walk West. After creating award-winning videos and commericals for brands like H&R Block and Velcro Companies, they are now in need of a brand spanking new logo!


Lights. Camera. ACTION!

Not wanting to make a huge departure from the Walk West word-mark or W brand mark as the two logos will often appear together, they have turned to the Creative Allies community to find an award-winning logo!

One winner will be selected to receive $250 and have their design launched as the new logo plus a 6-month subscription to proposal creation software, Proposa.

The Top 3 finalists will be selected at the end of the contest and should be prepared to make 1 revision to concept(s). The winning designer should expect to make 1-2 revisions of the final logo.

Finalists will be chosen by July 24 with revisions due July 26. The final winner will be decided by July 27 with final designs due by July 30.

All contest entrants will be added to an exclusive email list for future logo design opportunities.



Suggested Theme & Style Guidelines

Walk West Productions is responsible for everything from the initial idea of the project to completion. They help with the concept, scripting, scheduling, casting and more. Now they need an eye-catching logo that helps to set apart while remaning cohesive with the Walk West marketing firm.

  • Stylistic Preference: Clean & contemporary in look and feel
    - NO  bright colors like purple, orange, or yellow
  • Values to Communicate: Creativity, confidence and to some degree, technology
  • Usage: The new name and logo will be placed on the website, business cards, event banners, T-shirts, social media profiles AND marketing materials.
